And I’ll say it again, October has disappeared from our grasp. Life moves so quickly now that sometimes all the days and weeks merge into one big blur. It makes me think about how one day I was this tiny little newborn and my parents watched me grow older and older, and now, suddenly, I’m 21 and about to have a child of my own. How does that happen? How does time work in such a wonderful but scary way? The idea that my soon-to-be-baby will be 21 as fast as I’ve become 21, just another independent little soul cast out into the world.
October has been BUSY for me. Although I’ve really had to slow down on the physical aspects of ‘life’ because this pregnancy is making every step sorer than the last! Some days I feel great and full of motivation to get out and get stuff done, other days I almost feel like I’m in this paralysed state because it hurts too much to move.
The month started with meeting up with my girlfriends from school, for some delicious brunch to celebrate a birthday. I’ve known these girls since I can remember, and seeing and chatting with them once again really puts the feeling of home back in your heart. I also graduated this month…! (I know, I never thought it would happen too!) I can’t believe after all the studying and hard-work its actually all over – 7 years straight I have studied photography now, which makes this wonderful break and time for growing my family even more precious, perfect and well deserved.
We’ve had lots of checks/scans/appointments this month all to do with this little Baby Zea I’m housing inside of me. He’s doing perfectly well now, we’ve had a couple of wobbles with him but I’ll explain more on that in my next Pregnancy Update.
