Three Months of Zach

Wow, three months already!?

Well, this little guy is just something special. What a lovely little soul to be around. Like I mentioned in his two-month update he started a special dairy free formula and it quickly made a massive difference. A month on and he is a totally different baby.

Constantly smiling, never screaming, almost sleeping through (just one feed a night now around 3/4 am) and just overall a wonderful little guy.

He is still feeding every 2 hours in the day and only having 3/4oz per time. I guess he is a little and often guy. Though I wish he’d go at least 3 hours…

We’ve sort of fell into some kind of routine with him now (thank god).

He wakes with us around 7

Feeds at 9, and then goes to bed and wakes for a feed around 3/4

This is all a little hit and miss but it’s sort of how the days go around here now. I can fit in time to work from home and spend 1 on 1 time with Theodore which is just lovely, and Zach’s naps are long enough for us to walk up to our local park and have a play too.

I and Zach had our 6-12 week check up last week and it was really lovely to get him weighed again 13lbs 7oz the absolute CHUNK! Wrapping my head around that my last baby is growing so quickly right in front of my eyes whilst I’m desperately trying to cling onto his newborn-ness. He’s still in 0-3 clothing as I think his weight is starting to slow down a little now as this new dairy-free formula has made him a little sicky

Overall we’ve got to a stage that is relatively easy since we’ve totally adjusted to this new way of life with two kids. Going from 0-1 is way harder than 1-2.

Time is truly flying and I am already having thoughts about his first birthday already?!
