30 Things Before I’m 30

Unknown 114

Now, I’m turning 24 in a couple of weeks, which is a good few years before I’m 30! But I wanted to get this list out there so I’ve got a decent amount of time to fulfil it in, 6 years exactly! Surely enough time to complete a huge amount of life goals don’t you think?! You’d think so, but as you all probably know goal fulfilling is actually a lot harder than first thought, especially if these goals are big. My number one goal for the next 6 years is too get married, I’ve always said I wanted to get married before I’m 30, and I think me and Brad have been engaged long enough to start planning a wedding by now (4 years!).

We’re actually just about to get our house valued after all the renovation work we’ve done on it. We’ve made the plan that depending on what the value comes back as will determine whether we stay here and get married first, or if we move again first. If we can get the price we’re hoping for then we’ll put it on the market and move. If it’s not valued very high right now, we’ll live here longer, let the house prices go up, and get married whilst we’re here. So our wedding date is in the estate agents hands!

Which either of them happens first I’ve been promised by Brad that we will be married before we’re 30! I’ll hold him to that. These 30 goals are both huge life goals as well as smaller work goals that I wish to achieve. Right, without further ado here is my list of 30 things I want to have achieved before I’m 30 in no particular order.

My “30 things before I’m 30” bucket list

1. Get married

2. Take a honeymoon

3. Reach 10K on Instagram

4. Set up a home office

5. Moved into a bigger house

Is there anything in particular that you want to have done before your 30, 40 or maybe even 50? I think it’s healthy to have goals to work towards like these. Let me know if you think there’s something important I’ve missed out!

I love how varied your list is – little and easily achievable things mixed with some more ambitious ones. That’s a great way to do it! I tend to set myself annual goals as I’m so disorganised and forgetful that I’d never remember what it was I wanted to do further back than that! But I definitely want to take the kids on a holiday abroad. They have grandparents on both sides from other countries, so I’d love to introduce them to more of their family heritage.

This is such a lovely list. I’m getting closer to 40 so should probably think about the things I’d like to achieve.

Good luck with the valuation x

I’m almost 30. Yikes! To be exact im 29 will be 30 in June. When I was 24 I should have created a bucket list. You are doing great with this list. Especially with starting a blog now.

Lots of great things to do on the list. Going to London with the kids is good as there is loads to do there. Mine loved Shreks Adventure and Sealife.

Great list! I’d have to do a 50 by 50 list, which sounds a bit daunting! Maybe 5 by 50 and choose 5 big things, haha.

I wish I had done a 30 year bucket list, I turn 30 in a few weeks so its a bit late now. I like that some of these are simple things that can easily be done then some are a bit tricker and will take some effort to complete
